I couldn't think of a good signature, so I put this instead, so I could laugh at how you're currently wasting seconds of your life.

-I like the color scheme you had going in this. The swirl concept fits it nicely, in my opinion it helps draw the attention towards the text and the happy little couple. Although the text is simple, I found it to be fitting, especially the gradient, it matches very well with the style of the text.
-However, the empty space towards the center and the top left bothered me, made it seem somewhat unbalanced.
Foreground:
-They both seem proportionate (IMO); plus the value, clean-cut coloring, and perspective of the two are just great quality. You have a real talent for anime style art.
-Only things I see that remotely bothers me are the poses, aura, and the cropping. The pose is just fine as it is, but in my own perception, I see their lower body+legs fanned out more, to give it a feel of levitation (but that's just me). That and the aura seemed too spread out to me, personally I'd imagine that telekinesis would be more of a thin layer of energy rather than an actual aura. Also at some points, such as his leftmost spine, the aura surrounds the shapes unevenly.
-The cropping is rather controversial (IMO), usually I see many pictures that cut off a large portion of what the picture focuses on, to make the audience think. For this one, I'm not sure if its current state, or cutting off more of the lower portion would make it look better. BTW ^^ I love the detail on the footwear.
"Not sure's", "No idea's", and "Beats me's".
-I'm not much of a line artist, so I'm not one to talk, but these are just some things to experiment with I suppose.
-From what I've seen, your method of shading involves crisp lines for the shadows, blended highlights, and very subtle gradients in between. I'm not sure how this would look, but perhaps you could try fading the shadows in as they get further from the imaginary "source of light". Shadows tend to be more crisp as they get closer to the source of light.
-I've seen some "line-artists" eliminate the actual "line" portion of their works. I understand that it gives a solid boundary, but at some points it becomes a very limited version of an "eye-sore".
-Last thing, I like how your text turned out, but I'd watch the contrast if I were you, some viewers have monitors that have different levels of brightness than yours. I only happened to spot the "AT" because I lowered my head from the "horizontal".

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about standing in the rain.
I feel somewhat differentiated, like a freak of the commenting community T_T.
(To those that will agree with the statement above)
-_- "Thanks, that makes me feel a lot better."

That's a lot of words...
Yeah I did leave the corner bare, but I kinda wanted some of the sky to be empty... though I'll keep in mind what you said about balance.
Thanks! It's Cel Shading, its easy to pick up, and I like the result. ^^ And as far as Sonic Characters go... their legs are pretty far out there, I was keeping that in mind during the sketching phase. And Yeah, I see what you mean with the Aura... I'll try to remember that for future use.
As for the cropping... it kinda works IMO, since they are floating, gives ya that feeling that nothings down there. Though to be honest, I wanted to make the characters sorta big, and it was either loose the feet or loose the spines... I opted for the feet.
Thing is, if I remove the line art... there are blank spots left... and I like it like this, I shade in the lines so they go with the colors they surround, if you have any ideas here, let me know.
And I forgot about others contrasts... shoot... oh well... though mine is pretty bright... and I don't have much of a problem...
Thanks for the advice Rice! (lol, I made a rhyme! ^^)
Great job with the shading and the BG looks wonderful!
