FINALLY. I haven't uploaded here in what... 3 MONTHS??? Dang... I really need to get with the program... Sorry about the wait people... School and all that. Anyways...
Yeah... I tried out a new style of photoshoping. Painting! And I must say, I'm quite happy with it. Definitely needs some refining, but for my first try, I'm happy with how this came out. I'll probably be using this style a lot more in the future, I really like it, and I like the end result, so, let me know what you think. ^_^
About the pic: Ah... General Grievous... again... what? I think he's freaking awesome. At least, he is in the animated series. Anyway, not too much to say here, Grievous just jumped onto a Republic capital ship... and is making his way along the exterior to the bridge... where he'll make some Clone Troop soup... yum... Seriously though, I could see him doing something like this.
Anyway, I'll probably go back to Sonic for a while after this, and I'll try to be more efficient in the future, let me know what you all think, and thanks for the support.
I love this guy! ^w^ One of my faves! His design is so awesome. I adore this pic! ^^

wow.... to tell the truth he very extremely cool not to mention he is enabled to use 4 lightsabers instead of 2 lightsabers when everything becomes a vulnerability that he is going to lose the battle and when It comes to that situation he will switch gears and convert his 2 arms into 4 arms enabling him to 4 lightsabers at will... Which is of course the main reason that general grievous is very extremely bad ass character the shouldn't of course to be trifled and provoked with, am i right bro, huh bro????

Ah, I see you've found something you like. You seem to have done better with painting than with cell shading. I'm glad you've something you like to use better. I, personally, have developed my own shading style, and I'm sure you'll find your own in due time ^^ but anyways, ON TO the Critique!
hmm... something about the background doesn't seem right... too many stars/shiny areas etc. The spaceships look just fine, but the red tint kinda goes a bit koo-koo with a lot of things. and if he's going into a republic ship, then there may as well be walls and things to hold air inside, because General grievous is a cyborg. (I know my Star Wars facts I watch the show occasionally)
but, other than a few mishaps with the background, the only thing wrong with the character itself is the tricky anatomy, but that's easily excused, since robots are a PAIN to draw half the time. Just learn to have fun with it and You'll get him down a lot better!
one more piece of advice; make his armor a bit more robotic. Bigger blotches of color would work better than what you already did, making him seem a bit more organic that I thought he was. especially with the face. experiment until you find something that works
so... lesse... I give this little thing 76%(how did I come up with this again?). +fav button click!
